Poor Dolores. This sixty-five year old woman had done remarkably well over the thirty years that she had had diabetes, but beginning about six months ago she had noticed that she had become very dizzy. At first it was just when she quickly stood up after being in bed. Then, it started to bother her when she would get up from a chair. And now, pretty well any time she was up on her feet she would feel light-headed. On a couple of occasions she fell and once she even fainted. She otherwise was feeling very well.
