Bill, a forty year old man, didn't much like going to the doctor and he sure as heck hated going for blood tests. But, upon the prompting of his wife, he did eventually agree to see his physician to have his diabetes looked after. Apart from some constipation, Bill didn't have much in the way of symptoms, but when the doctor examined Bill, he noted that Bill had a faint, orangey hue to his skin. The doctor sent Bill for some blood tests and a week later, they met again. The doctor told Bill that his cholesterol was unbelievably bad and he would need to be on medicine right away.
"Oh, doc," Bill said, "I hate the idea of taking cholesterol medicine. Do I really have to?"
To which the doctor replied, "No, you don't. In fact I wasn't going to prescribe cholesterol medicine at all. I was actually going to give you a prescription for..."
